Duties
- Contact Advisors and Nationals
- Complete all paperwork required to keep SWE a registered organization with the University
- Oversee executive board meetings once per week and general meetings bi-weekly
- Send email reminders/announcements for E-board and general meetings
- Work immediately with Advisors and Mentors
Vice President
Duties
- Oversee all committee head meetings bi-weekly
- Compile Committee head meeting agenda
- Email follow-ups to committee heads
- Maintain swecheb-l and sweeb-l email lists
- Maintain attendance for all officers as it pertains to active membership policy
2nd VP for Membership
Duties
- Update the swe-l email list regularly to include all new members
- Maintain attendance for all general members as it pertains to active membership policy
- Birthdays
- Maintain a member list with all pertinent information about each member
Treasurer
Duties
- Prepare monthly statements for executive board review
- Maintain 1 week turn around on reimbursements
- Present budget to USG for funding
- Balance checkbook, pay bills and update Quickens
- Keep track of all corporate donations
- Maintain all office supplies
Secretary
Duties
- Take minutes at all general meetings and send them to the e-mail list
- Write requested thank-you letters
Counselor

- Responsible to the region governor for the section's compliance with the bylaws, policies, and procedures of national SWE
Mentor

Duties
- Assist the executive council on an as-needed basis
- Serve an advisory role only
- Be available for the Executive Council to consult regarding SWE issues
Advisor

- Give the organization motivation and guidance to improve their abilities to succeed in Engineering, Math and Science
- A minimum of one Advisor must be a full time employee of Michigan Technological University
