General Evening With Industry Information

EWI is an annual event hosted by the Michigan Tech Society of Engineers the day before the Fall Career Fair. EWI provides a relaxed environment where students and corporate representatives can interact before the stressful career fair. Students get a head-start on their peers by meeting recruiters first and getting the chance to talk to them over dinner. There is a good chance to leave with a door prize- these range from range from polo shirts to backpacks to USB flash drives. Companies have a chance to meet successful students interested in their company and share with them their experiences in the working world. In 2007, over 45 companies and 100 students attended- the EWI committee is working to make the next event even better!
