This semester some meetings will include a Career fair panel, Senior Design vs. Enterprise discussion, Pumpkin Painting and a Holiday Potluck with other professional organizations. SOCIALS AND OUTREACH
Active members must participate in one activity per semester. This can either be a social event such as Hungarian Falls this Saturday, or an outreach even such as Big Mac or a Girl Scout Badge workshop.

CAREER FAIR PANEL NOTES
This week's general meeting had representatives from Dow Chemical, ITC, MIT Lincoln Labs, and Michigan Tech's Engineering Fundamentals. It was a very informative meeting. Here is some of the advice that the reps gave:
- Always dress professional, no super short skirts or too tight pants. THEY WILL JUDGE YOU! You are asking to be hired into a $50,000 position with little experience, so you at least have to dress and act proper.
- Watch your language in an interview! Do not swear or put down other people, groups or cultures. Also, keep it PG.
- When in an interview, they always somehow ask a question wanting to know how you dealt with a problem that you had while working in a group.
- If you have internship or co-op experience, talk about it because it is a great experience to pull from.
- Some companies pay for you to go back to get your MBA so you could wait to get it if you wanted.
- Find a job that you are interested in and passionate about; it will make work much better.
- Also, look for companies that have growth opportunities. Once you start working, would you be able to move around or up in the company?
